A clipping path is a selection in an image to  remove background or selected object .
This usually done by graphic designers.But this is a manual work where as graphic designers are needed for creative work.  It is for this reason, clipping path and skills requiring no or less creative work are outsourced to Bangladesh and SE Asia where cost is much less.
